The vision for Sozo Gal was planted in my heart by God when I was just a young girl — a dream to create something more than just a brand, but a ministry wrapped in fabric. After years of working in retail, studying Fashion Merchandising and Design, and seeking purpose through faith, Sozo Gal became more than an idea — it became a calling.

I created my first collection in college, titled “In God We Trust.” It consisted of five looks, all inspired by a simple charcoal grey tee bearing the familiar phrase found on the back of our coins. From there, the vision grew into a collection that explored the fundamentals of Christianity and wove them into the fashion industry. It was edgy, touched with glamour, and brought the spirit of Christian rock to life. That collection—and that T-shirt—sparked something deeper. It inspired me to launch my own business and gave me a meaningful foundation to build on.

It was during those college years that the brand found its name. I first heard the word Sozo during a sermon at my campus ministry. The name "Sozo" comes from the Greek word meaning to save, heal, preserve, and rescue — and that’s exactly what we hope to do: speak life, truth, and encouragement into the hearts of women through meaningful designs and gospel-rooted messages.

And so, Sozo Gal was born.

In 2021, that vision became official when we launched as an LLC. We made our public debut at our first vendor fair in 2023 and after a short pause to welcome my firstborn, we’re back and more passionate than ever.
